Out of the Archives: Editing Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Letters
Jennifer Tuttle, Dorothy M. Healy Chair and Associate Professor of English at the University of New England, will discuss the private and unpublished letters of famed author, Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1860-1835). Gilman, author of the macabre and proto-feminist short story The Yellow Wallpaper, struggled with life as a mother, writer, and patient of S. Weir Mitchell. Join Professor Tuttle to learn more about the latest research on this fascinating woman and her life in Victorian America. Dyer Library

HOGWARTS SUMMER SCHOOL
Apparate to the Deering Room of the Dyer Library to spend your summer at Hogwarts! The class will be reading the Harry Potter books as well as taking lessons on a variety of topics from gemstones, magical creatures, and Greek mythology. The class is only open to 20 students, ages 8-12.Sign ups begin now in the Children's Room of the Dyer Library with a first meeting on March 22.
Classes meet every two to three weeks, March through November in the Deering Room of the Dyer Library.
